Tonight in support Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Moorpark College women's volleyball team will be hosting their annual game against rivalry Ventura College.

This game will hit home for many of the players on both teams including outside hitter, Laura Acosta.  Ventura resident Acosta experienced a heavy loss when her grandmother passed away from breast cancer two years ago.

"It is important to me to honor my grandma and play for her, and to raise awareness for others to finally find a cure.  People are starting to survive [breast cancer] and I just hope there will be a cure one day," said Acosta.

The event will kick off with both teams wearing pink to show their support.  There will also be different fundraising activities along with a bake sale to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
