Power outage at Moorpark College affected morning classes and students on Nov. 2.
At 10:12 a.m. the college sent out an emergency alert notifying staff and students about the power outage and letting them know that all morning classes have been canceled. It also said that afternoon classes starting from 12.30 p.m. are open until further notice.
Another alert was sent out at 12:23 p.m. with the notification that power had been restored and the remaining classes for the day are in schedule.
The reason for the outage is unclear at this moment, but was probably related to the strong wind.
No major problems or accidents due to the outage have been reported.
