Eighty-three students waited to hear their names called as they sat in anticipation of auditioning for Moorpark’s One-Act Plays Jan. 17. No guidance was offered to them as they entered the Performing Arts Center. They were simply given monologues by student playwrights and were not given any direction, except to wait.
